Warren Winegar
Warren Winegar is the Principal of Winegar Fine Art. He provides advice, acquisition and strategic planning for individuals, families and corporations on art. Committed to education as an essential element of collecting art, the firm focuses on experiences that offer ways to understand the complexities of art and the art market. With a view to understanding art as an asset class, services embrace a full range of analysis through qualitative and historical aspects.
Warren has spent the majority of his career in the auction world. Previously Warren was the Head of Client Services for Sotheby's in New York. Prior to this role he was Associate Director at Sotheby's Institute of Art. He began his career managing a Madison Ave. gallery and then operating as a private art dealer for several years in New York.
With MA degrees in Fine & Decorative Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art - London and one in Art History from Brigham Young University, Warren has a comprehensive educational background across the field. He has extensive international experience having lived and worked for several years in Paris, London, Germany and Australia. Warren and his wife have four children.
