Originally designed in 1928, the iconic LC4 chaise lounge was designed to echo the human form at rest. Coined the “relaxing machine” with its movable, floating frame; the chaise adjusts from upright to fully reclined, beautifully balancing form and function. The LC4 chaise is still in production today manufactured by Cassina of Italy.
Exemplary of early twentieth-century modernist design, an example of LC4 chaise is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, among other important museums around the globe.
