Renowned Italian mid-century modernist architect and designer, Domenico “Ico” Parisi’s furniture is best known for functional pieces that combined wood and metal. Produced in the 1950s, the present magazine rack is a fine example of his earlier style- a well-crafted piece in wood, cane and metal that is designed in a simplified yet functional and attractive form.
